Just Another Dream is the story of a teenage girl named Anna. After a tragic event, she begins to have nightmares that ominously come true in reality. She desperately tries to warn her loved ones about impending disasters, but her parents don’t believe her and send her to a psychiatric clinic. The girl has to unravel the mystery of her prophetic dreams and save those she cares about before it’s too late.
What is really happening? Is it a lucid dream where she can manipulate reality, or is it a near-death experience (which can also be one of the phase states) after which she wakes up in an ambulance? Many questions remain open, and the film allows the viewer to decide for themselves what caused the heroine’s unusual abilities.
Just Another Dream cannot be called a practical guide to lucid dreaming, given that it contains no specific techniques or exercises for lucid dreamers. Instead, the film poses philosophical questions about the nature of sleep, the boundaries of reality and illusion, and the extent to which our dreams might be connected to the events of the “waking” world. It is a parable about the value of life, the importance of paying attention to our loved ones, and the fact that even in the scariest dream, you can change the plot.
Have you seen the movie? Do you think it resembles a phase state?
