Lego is not just a toy company but also a producer of animated films. One of its animated series Lego DREAMZzz takes place in a world of dreams. Characters can change the scenery, create objects, and shape their own dream scenarios. Sometimes, the dream turns into a nightmare that the characters have to fight.

The creators of this series call lucid dreaming “dream crafting.” As reported by Metro, the series is meant to show children how they can control their dreams. Three main methods of teaching children this practice are suggested:

1. Choose a character from the dream and make up different stories with them.
2. Reimagine the character: imagine them in different situations and create new relationships with those around them.
3. Act out the dream. It doesn’t have to be a big production; the main thing is to convey the mood of the dream.

Ultimately, the child should understand that they have power over the images in their mind. Lego even conducted research showing that over one-third of children practice lucid dreaming in some form and can direct the plots of their dreams as they wish. Perhaps this is an innate skill that is forgotten with age, rather than one that is acquired through training.
