American rap artist Kid Cudi has released a video entitled “Heaven on Earth,” in which the artist goes through an out-of-body experience after nearly drowning. Apparently, the musician was fascinated with the theme of the near-death experience, during which people often have the sensation of leaving their bodies.
In the video, paramedics in the ambulance try to save the rapper, but instead of heart rhythms, the ECG monitor shows the stages of his approach to the final destination – heaven. Once he has left his body, the musician continues to rap.
This video is the second part of the life and death saga which began with the artist’s previous video – “She Knows This”. In this first video, the artist’s car falls off a cliff into the water. However, in “Heaven on Earth,” it turns out that this was a dream and in fact, we see the rapper drowned in his pool.
Kid Cudi is an American Grammy Award-winning performer and producer. He rose to prominence in 2008 when his debut single “Day ‘n’ Nite” became a worldwide hit. The popular American rapper and producer Kanye West then drew attention to the future star and signed him up to his label.
