British singer and songwriter Robert Plant is known primarily as the lead singer of the rock band Led Zeppelin. After its breakup in 1980, Plant embarked on a solo career, sometimes collaborating with other musicians. According to MusicRadar, in 2009, Plant was recognized as “rock’s greatest voice” according to a survey conducted by the radio station Planet Rock.

The singer, who is now 72 years old, talked on his own podcast, “Digging Deep,” about how the restrictions of the pandemic period have led him to lucid dreams filled with amazing landscapes and encounters. In particular, the musician was able to use lucid dreaming to visit with the late legendary drummer John Bonham, as well as his own son, who died in 1977 at the age of five, among other family and friends.

“They’ve been magnificent moments of great relief,” Plant admitted. “So it seems that when I’m asleep sometimes, I’ve been in a really great place… and I’ve gone somewhere, and now I’ve got to get back to wherever it was, and I’m making my way back through these amazing landscapes.”

Rock fans will also be interested to know that the first-ever biography of John Bonham (Beast: John Bonham And The Rise Of Led Zeppelin) is being released in September, according to UNCUT.
