The real goal is to promote traditional Indian knowledge. So, students will also study Ayurveda, yoga, meditative practices, and so on.

However, this is a state university created by the government that is recognized as an institution of national importance. The institution also educates future physicists, chemists, engineers, builders, and mathematicians. As India Times writes, the decision to include pseudoscientific topics in university curricula has sparked criticism. However, university representatives insist that the courses are based solely on scientific research.
