More and more show business stars have been sharing their experiences of phase states – lucid dreams, sleep paralysis, out-of-body, and near-death experiences. This week, two participants of the “The Bachelor” franchise admitted to being familiar with “sleep demons.”

“The Bachelor” has been around for a while: at the moment, ABC is planning to launch its 25th season. According to the Daily Mail, one of the participants, Megan Marx, suffered from sleep paralysis throughout her childhood, although, fortunately, she seems to have had no episodes in recent years. “I thought it was a demonic attack, which left me scared to fall asleep at night – the whole thing was terrifying to me,” said the reality star. It wasn’t until she was 24 that she learned that she was experiencing a commonly reported state.

According to Pedestrian, another member of a program from the same franchise (“The Bachelorette”), Angie Kent, claims that she was attacked by the sleep paralysis demon, which always appeared in the form of a man. During the attack, she experienced the whole range of sensations: visual, auditory, and tactile. Angie heard speech in different languages, as well as terrible singing, and she felt the sheets being pulled off her. Like Megan, she related that she was afraid to fall asleep: “One time it was so bad, when I woke up, I would felt scratches all down my arm,” she shared.

What sensory channels does your sleep paralysis demon touch (if, of course, you’ve had such an experience)?
