Amy’s brother is dead. She hasn’t seen him in years. Thomas has always been a bit of an eccentric, obsessed with lucid dreaming and the concept of other worlds. For Amy—an ordinary veterinarian from a small town—all this sounded like pure fuction. That is, until she comes upon Thomas’s diaries. At first, the writings seem like the product of a delirious and anxious mind; yet, gradually, his theories begin to seem more and more plausible. Maybe Amy’s brother was right about everything? And what if he’s not really dead?

Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken is a horror adventure game and a continuation of the cult classic series Deep Sleep on the theme of lucid dreams. The developers propose to dive with Amy into the world of her dreams and, using the power of her mind, create the surrounding space, overcome difficulties, and solve puzzles in order to eventually uncover the truth about her brother. The authors of the game promise “landscapes both beautiful and terrifying” along the way.

There is darkness in these labyrinths. It knows about Amy and is very interested in finding her. One thing it hasn’t taken into account is that the young woman’s ability to influence her dreams, which will help her defeat her enemies. Gradually you will improve her skills and discover new ones to help Amy survive and make her stronger.

As the creators of the game add, you will pass through the space of nightmares and other worlds and encounter strange and dangerous creatures that can be friends, enemies… or both. Eventually you will find the answers and all secrets will be revealed—that is, if you survive the creatures hunting you down.

The game is set for release on PC in 2023.
