Sammy Hagar, an American guitarist and rock vocalist, also known as the Red Rocker, claims he was abducted by aliens 60 years ago. He shared the details on “Las Vegas Now” on KLAS-TV. According to the musician, such stories have prompted some people to call him “a nut.”

The “abduction” took place at four o’clock in the morning: it was pitch dark, and Hagar was in a “dead sleep” when suddenly he felt like he was being “programmed”: “Like someone’s tapping into me like it was a string from my head to 13 miles up on a mountain place called Lau Creek. And I know right where it was, these little foothills. There was an object there. There was two people in it, two creatures in it.”

There was no remote control, no satellites, no computers. But the musician felt that the aliens were somehow connecting to him. Telepathically, they said, “Oh, he’s waking up.” They shouted out a numerical code, and an electric charge surged into their ship and turned on a light, which enabled Hagar to watch the creatures’ shadows.

The next thing he knew, he woke up at home, in his bed. The room was infinitely white, and he could not move – complete paralysis – only with his eyes open. Then, suddenly, the room turned black. The rocker recalls that he was sweating, shaking, and feeling exhausted.

According to the website brobible, this encounter of the third kind was not the only one the musician experienced. In the 1980s, he was visited by small gray creatures, also at night. Hagar’s belief in UFOs was so strong that he became seriously interested in astronomy, and many of his songs are dedicated to space and aliens. For example, “Space Station No. 5,” “Space Age Sacrifice,” and “Silver Lights.”

According to a recent study by the Phase Research Center, such stories are not always fiction. In an experiment, 114 people deliberately met with aliens in a lucid dream (LD). We should note that both of the musician’s purported encounters occurred at night, and his account of the first one directly indicates that he was asleep. Perhaps Hagar simply did not realize that he was in a phase state (in addition to LD, this term encompasses sleep paralysis and false awakenings, among other phenomena).
